Bosco goes to Fort Davis + Marfa.

One year ago we brought Bosco home. He weighed 55 lbs.
A few months ago we took Bosco on vacation with us to Fort Davis and Marfa. He weighed 82 lbs.
John still wanted to hang out in the hammock with him though.
And our 25 lb. niece just wants to snuggle him. And Bosco loves it.
My mother in law was skeptical about having a dog on vacation with us thinking it might encumber us somehow, but by the end of the week, she even said she might bring just Bosco next time she goes out there, you know, to keep her company. ;)
Bosco = awesomest. dog. ever.

Greetings from Germany

Guten tag! A few pictures from our last couple of days. Hope everyone is doing well!
 
0766 is the front part of our 700 year old hotel/castle where we are staying in Bacharach, Germany.
 
0813 is a view from the vineyards in Bacharach, looking toward the Rhine river. You can see the church and the chapel ruins also.
 
0868 is a view from a hill behind Bacharach on a trail that goes up to another castle. You can see the Rhine and the town of Bacharach on the near side of the river.
 
4973 is the town square in Bacharach at night. The building in the center of the photo was built in 1368.
 
0544 is a view from the top of one of the towers of Rheinfels Castle in St. Goar, looking down onto the ruins of the same castle.
 
05050 is a view from a Rhine River cruise of two more castles which names I do not know right now.
 
5041 is a view from the top of the Rheinfels Castle looking down onto the town of St. Goar and the Rhine River.
